Newman’s Own Organic Pet Food Review
Newman’s Own Organics (NOO) The Second generation Premium Dog food that is Organic Beef, and grain free was a hit with both Molly and Sadie. They usually don’t get wet dog food so they were very eager to eat it up and the whole can was gone within a minute. I would say that nutritionally it is better for the dogs because the first ingredient listed is Crude Protein.
The second can was just as big of a hit with both dogs, it was the Chicken & Brown Rice Formula. If I had to pick one of the two to eat it would have been this one. It just looked more appetizing to me. It was gone in less than a minute as well, with both dogs begging for more. The Newman’s Own Organics was formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages.
Having an older dog and a younger dog, neither of which you can consider to be spoiled as we feed them their regular food. They roam the country side freely, but neither one of them get snacks on a regular basis. So when we received the NOO Snack Sticks for dogs that were flavored with Organic Chicken and Rice both dogs were very excited. It was not only a treat for our dogs but for us as well to be able to give them something extra. We got to enjoy the playful games as when they were puppies again, watching them doing tricks for treats such as playing fetch and shaking hands. You could definitely tell both Molly and Sadie loved their treats and I would not be hesitant to buy them some more.
Newman’s Own Adult Dog Formula was a 1.5 pound sack that was one feeding for our Molly and Sadie. They gobbled this wonderful dog food up. They looked like they enjoyed every bite, although I really couldn’t tell if it had a healthful benefit after one feeding. But with the content look they had on their face after just one feeding I would say changing to Newman’s Own Adult Dog Food would be a beneficial switch.
Newman’s Own Organic Premium Dog Treats were also a hit with both Sadie and Molly. They again did more tricks and Molly the younger of the two finally learned to fetch using these Peanut Butter small dog treats. She will now fetch anything you throw out in the yard and bring it back to you. All you have to say now is “drop” and she will drop her item, but you better have a treat to give her once she drops it. Habits are hard to break, but I am thankful that Newman’s Own Peanut Butter Premium Dog treats helped teach her this new trick. We already ordered more of these treats online so we could have more to train her with!!
