A night in with the boys can be exactly what the doctor ordered after a long, hard week of work. Unwinding with your closest and dearest friends can help you return to work after the weekend feeling incredibly refreshed and replenished. Plus, you can make memories together that none of you will ever forget.
Do you want to organise a fun boys’ night in but are unsure about what to suggest or how to go about doing so? Read on for some fun activities.
1. Catch a Game
Are you and your friends’ sports fans? If so, then organise a sports night so that you can watch either one of your team’s play or watch a random match that you may enjoy. You can catch some great live football games, and to make things a lot more interesting, you and your friends could raise the stakes by placing a few bets here and there. If you guys are into college basketball but you feel like your know-how is a bit rusty, checking out a few college basketball picks before placing your bets could help you make a few extra bucks.
Make it the best games night by including everyone’s favourite treats. If it’s summer, then you could organise a BBQ and have a whole spread of delicious food and alcoholic beverages for you and your friends to enjoy out in the sun. Or you could organise something much more relaxed and offer a variety of soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and bowls of crisps and other snacks.
2. Co-op on Some Video Games
Co-op can occur in person (so with you and your friends under the same roof and sat on the same sofa) or across the internet. This is perfect if only some of your friends can come to your house for a video game night or if you are unable to meet face-to-face. The best co-op games are Call of Duty, Dead by Daylight, and Valorant. However, you can also co-op with some more relaxing and wholesome games such as Genshin Impact and Stardew Valley.
3. Host a Board Game Night
Perhaps you and your friends would like a break from your electronics. And if this is the case, then why not go old school and organise and host a board game night? After all, who doesn’t love Monopoly or Cluedo? When sending out the invitation, be sure to ask your friends which board games they would be interested in playing. You could also suggest that everyone brings their favourite and that you all decide on the night once you have seen what there is to play. Again, make your home cosy by offering food, snacks, and drink, to everyone. If you ever get tired of one game, you can always switch over to another!
A successful boys’ night in is one that is cosy and allows you and your friends to unwind and have a few laughs. You’ll most likely find that the simple acting of relaxing in one another’s company can be enough, but be sure to have some activities planned such as organising a meet up when an important football match is playing or you have a new video game you wish to play with them.
