Sometimes it can be tough to find a day or night out that all ages enjoy. After all, what grandma thinks is a fun day out, might not be what your teenager has in mind. However, there’s no need to throw in the towel just yet, as there truly are a few things you can all do together with your entire family. Just read on to find out our top 4 suggestions.

Board Games
If you are thinking that a family board games night means dusting off the Ludo and Snakes and Ladders, stop! Board games are so much more than they used to be, and there is such a wonderful and wide variety of games available that can be played by all ages.
Instead of playing an old game, I recommend you buy a new one so the whole family gets the experience of learning how to play together. What you choose will depend on what you are all into, but there are fun games that rely on inference like Dixit, ones that are all about strategy such as Ticket To Ride, and even ones that embrace luck and a little chaos like Throw Throw Avocado!
A road trip
There is nothing better than exploring a new place together, and a family road trip will provide you with the perfect opportunity to do this. It will also provide you with some downtime as you travel where there is nothing to do but be in each other’s company which can be a lovely change of pace.
For a successful road trip, it’s a good idea to budget and plan where you will go, and the stops along the way. The good thing about America is that there are so many fun roadside attractions you never need to go more than a few hours without seeing something new and novel.
Mentalist & Magicians
A mentalist or magician can be a lot more entertaining than you’d think, and most of them keep it family-friendly, though your kids might need to be a little older to properly enjoy them. It’s more than worth looking into these, and you should be able to find plenty of magic or mentalism shows near where your family lives.
Then there are the ones you can hire for an event, so that could be a great entertainment option for any family parties. There’s no reason why seeing one of these shows couldn’t be a great activity for your family.
Scene75
With five locations across the US Scene75 is another great choice for those wanting to spend time with the whole family. The key here is that there are so many activities on offer in the same location from go-karts to baseball nets, to laser tag, and even crazy golf that it will be easy to find one that everyone wants to do. There’s also a bar and food facilities so if some do want to sit one activity out they can do some in comfort and get refreshed for the next activity!
Art class
Everyone can be creative, no matter what their age, so how about booking your family into an art or craft class? Yes, you’ll find ones that are for specific ages, but most classes will accommodate a wide age range as well, especially if you ask. You might even be able to get into a sip and paint where there adults can have a little wine as they let their artistic side out, while the kids can drink soda and juice.
Another great thing about going to an art or craft class together on a daily is that it can teach you the skills to start on your own. That means you’ll no longer need the class but you can get together more as a family and paint, carve, or sew!
