5 Tips to Help You Organize Your Car
I don’t care about a lot of things when it comes to organization, but I need my car to be organized. It drives me crazy when I have things all over the place. It took me a lot of years, but I have learned how to organize my car and so can you! Check out these 5 tips to help you organize your car.
Keep a trash bag on hand
The real secret to being organized is to get rid of the trash. I like to keep a trash bag on hand to help me do this. When I need to throw something away, into the trash it goes. It doesn’t go on the floor in my car, it goes right in the trash bag.
Spend time decluttering
Everything in my car is not trash, but that is where decluttering comes in. When you have a million things piling up in your car, it’s time to declutter it. I spend a few minutes each week decluttering and it has been a lifesaver in the organization department.
Get organizers for your vehicle
One of my favorite things to do to help organize my car are over the seat organizers. It’s amazing what you can fit in there! It helps me organized my everyday items and my work items. I like being able to find things easier!
Make the family help
Although my daughter is grown, there was a time when she left stuff in the family vehicle. One of the best things you can do to keep your vehicle organized is to make the family help. When you park, make everyone carry something inside. I used to tell my daughter that my car is not a trash hole to collect items. Let’s keep it as clean as possible!
Clean out the trunk
It’s amazing what is lurking in your trunk. I have found a nice trunk organizer to keep in my trunk, this helps with car organization tremendously.
