Almond Lemon Chicken
Almond Lemon Chicken is a perfect meal for anytime during the week or even a Sunday Dinner. Cooking isn’t something that I have always loved, but I grew up learning how to cook with my Nana. Nana never really used fancy oils, balsamics, or other goodies that we have now, but she cooked with love and that makes it all taste better right?? But the older I get the more I find I enjoy cooking, and with Dove Olive Oils and Balsamics in our house we always have a plethora of new flavors to try.
But for the Almond Lemon Chicken I do admit that it was all Mr. SMSL’s creation! It happened one night when we had a half of a chicken breast and we wanted something a little bit different, but I was a little skeptical when he said he was going try Almond and Lemon together. But in true blogger fashion I went along with it and when it was done baking I decided it looked good enough for pictures. So after snapping a few pictures, we finally got to eat!
I was more than pleasantly surprised with the flavors of the chicken and it was extra juicy making it even better. To make the Almond Lemon Chicken all we did was drizzled Dove Almond Olive Oil and Lemon Olive Oil all over the chicken and placed it into the oven until golden brown and cooked all of the way through. It took about an hour at 350°F. We served ours with a side of white rice and some steamed broccoli, but you could serve it with almost any of your own go to recipes and have a wonderful meal!
You could even make Almond Fried Chicken for an added twist to this unique recipe!
