Have you ever watched a show and fell instantly in love with the story-line as well as the characters? Me too, more often than not but Andi Mack is a show that I was introduced to in Los Angeles and I fell so in love with these characters, it was almost unbelievable. At one point I could almost see myself on the screen which is odd especially for a “teenagers” show. But hang with me for just a little bit and you will see why I LOVED Andi Mack.

Everyone can relate to it

It goes through real life scenarios. Families are not perfect and they work through things together, family and life in general is everything. The unexpected is what people need to learn to embrace because that is what makes life fun and interesting. YES, YES, YES and YES!!

The teen years are tough

The teen years are tough, but hands down 12-13 are probably two of the hardest ages because you are trying to fit in and life changes. But for Andi Mack everything she knew for the last 12 years, and while it’s all laid out in one episode, the next one will be just as good. It is a show to watch with the entire family and you can even talk about what happens in the show in correlation to your family. Andi Mack is a great way to start those other wise tough conversations.

Andi Mack will help bridge the generation gap that is there so often with our kids, we have been there and done that, to them we are usually some of the stupidest people on the planet. (Or at least that is how Liz felt sometimes, and I remember that feeling growing up as well.

There are lots of firsts

In the episodes we screened there were several firsts, a big defiance, a sister is really a mom and even a first crush. The cast assured us that there were lots of first coming up as the series goes on. But the biggest message of all is that love, family and of course honesty is the way to go. So gather the kids and tune into one of the coolest shows to hit the airwaves in a long time, for a fun filled season of firsts!

It begins with Bex arranging for Andi to train for Ultimate Frisbee with the cutest guy at school, Jonah Beck, who she learns has a high school age girlfriend, Amber.Ê Andi also grapples with telling her best friends Buffy and Cyrus some big news, but is preoccupied making Jonah Beck a bracelet, at his request.Ê Meanwhile, Cyrus becomes the Space Otters’ official Enthusiastic Supporter, helps them win their first game.
