Tips for Being Frugal with Baby Products
If you are busy raising a family, then you know those baby products are not cheap. In fact, they can add up so quickly. Whether you are buying baby products for your own home or intend on buying them as a gift, I wanted to share some tips for being frugal with baby products.
Buy off Facebook Garage Sale Sites
I’ve noticed a trend where people are selling baby products for super cheap on Facebook Garage Sale sites. It is pretty awesome when you can get a pack of diapers for ½ off of their original price. This is an excellent way to stock up on diapers for a fair price.
Coupons are Still Valid
If you have the time and energy and want to use coupons for buying baby products, then go for it. It’s always nice when you can buy baby products for discounts. However, most coupons with baby products aren’t that great by themselves, you need to pair the coupons with items that are on sale to maximize your savings.
Buy Store Brand
I don’t care who you are, most diapers work the same way. Although I have found that when kids are in bed at night, it’s always better to use “the better brands.” However, buying the store brand can help you save so much money overtime. Some kids are allergic to specific brands, so keep that in mind.
Go Cloth
One of the absolute best ways to save money on baby products is to use cloth. That means cloth diapers and even cloth baby wipes. Not having to buy those items every week can really save you money over time. And let’s face it, baby wipes and diapers are expensive and they add up quickly.
Use
Another huge tip for saving money on baby products is to use Amazon. It’s amazing how much money you can save on all baby products. Plus, you don’t even have to leave your house! All of the great deals come right to your house. But the best way to save money on expensive baby products is to request these freebies!
