BBQ Pork Mac N Cheese Recipe
BBQ Pork Mac N Cheese Recipe is one of our go to meals because who doesn’t love BBQ and macaroni and cheese. But instead of using a box mix I always make up my own from scratch. Everything is better when it is homemade right?? But BBQ pork and macaroni and cheese are two staples in our house because they are easy to make. But in the summertime Mr. SMSL barbecues a lot, so having freshly smoked pulled pork makes this dish even better.
BBQ Pulled Pork Mac-N-Cheese Recipe:
Ingredients
- Smithfield Garlic & Herb Pork Tenderloin (any brand we usually use plain and then season the meat)
- Bottle of BBQ Sauce we usually have K.C. Masterpiece on hand but have tried several brands and they are all delicious!

- Put 3-4 Tbsp of butter or olive oil in a skillet and brown pork for 2 minutes on each side.
- Turn heat down to low/med and cook for another 20 minutes turning once until meat reads 145
- Boil water for elbow noodles and cook according to package directions.
- Drain noodles and place back in the pot along with the heavy cream and cream cheese.
- After the cream cheese has melted add in 3 cups of cheese.
- Spray a 9×13 pan down with no stick oven spray and pour in Mac-N-Cheese mixture

This looks amazing & I plan to make it, but I have a question. Your ingredients list flour & pano crumbs, but the directions don’t incorporate them. Are they optional?
