Big Hero 6 Back in Action

I partnered with Disney to bring you this post, however, all opinions are 100% my own as always.

Big Hero 6 Back in Action

The adventures continue for tech genius Hiro Hamada and his healthcare companion, the lovable, inflatable Baymax! Picking up right before the end of the film, Hiro thinks Baymax is lost forever, until he finds the chip Tadashi designed to create Baymax. In this seven episode series (including the 44-minute Disney Channel Television Movie), the stakes are raised for Hiro, Baymax and their friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go, control freak Wasabi, chem whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred – as they fight to protect San Fransokyo as the legendary superhero team Big Hero 6.

It was an adorable series and one I watched from beginning to end, without time for breaks. Fans can bring home the Big Hero 6 The Series – Back in Action! DVD complete with six bonus shorts on Tuesday, June 26th.

A few years back I was able to meet Scott Adsit who does the voice of Baymax  and I fell into love with Baymax just a little more. Baymax’s voice is a very unique voice and when Scott auditioned for the movie, he wasn’t sure if it would be a typical robotic voice. But when he saw a picture of the character design he knew that a soft huggable, benign bedside manner voice was going to be the winner! He found his Baymax voice pretty early in the audition, and then the big change was somewhere in the middle of the process, they decided to give him another, facet, which is when he loses power and becomes, for lack of a better word, drunk. They even tried to enhance it, but decided that Scott’s voice acting drunk was the best and so the “drunk robot voice” was born!

Now the Baymax story is continuing on and we celebrated with these fun additions to our toy collections and of course the Beach Towel is perfect for all summer gatherings.

The Baymax Water Bottle will be a hit when we have kids over, I’m positive of it, but I’m also expecting a few quarrels over it, because it’s adorable. The Mini Transforming Baymax who is sitting proudly on my office shelf, but I miss my Mini Baymax Plush that Biscuit tore up when he was a puppy. Then, to keep the kids busy we have a 32 page Color and Play Book and a Sticker Sheet set that I will give to my nieces and nephews to drive their parents crazy.
