Birds Nest Breakfast Recipe
Birds Nest Breakfast Recipe is a great way to have an easy on the go the go breakfast. They can even be frozen and reheated in the microwave to make your morning’s a little less hectic. Birds Nests are easy to make and only take a handful of ingredients most of which you can get fairly cheap using coupons so it is a win, win situation.
Ingredients:
Shredded Hash Browns
Eggs
Shredded Cheese
2 strips of Bacon or Ham
Instructions:
Use a muffin pan so you have a Bird’s Nest shape.
Cover bottom of pan with cooking spray to prevent burning and sticking which will make them easier to pop out as well.
Layer bottom of pan with (uncooked) hash browns. Then break an egg on top, if you just want egg whites that will also work with this recipe.
Cut the bacon into tiny bits (if you prefer this will work with bacon bits if you don’t have time). Place the bacon on top the egg then cover completely with shredded cheese.
Bake hash browns at 350° for 20 min.
Put the rest of the toppings on and bake for another 20 min.
