Top Tips for Black Friday Shopping Success

Black Friday Shopping Tips

Black Friday means shopping in the brick and mortar stores for most people. But this is one holiday I sit on the couch and enjoy because more and more retailers are offering online deals that can’t be beat. Plus, you don’t have to fight the crowds for something that is on the must buy list for this year’s holiday season. But having a strategy to help you save is important whether you are shopping online or in store!

Here are a few tips to help you score the best deals!

Make a Wish List

Make a wish list of items you want to purchase to help you with your Christmas shopping. Then, you will have a master Christmas list with the “regular” price included so when you are shopping you know you will be getting the lowest price possible.

Add to your list

Add store columns to your list so you can compare prices as you are shopping through the ads. Make notes under each items as to where it is on sale at and how much it is, then circle the spot you can get the best deal.

Shop Locally

Lots of smaller Mom and Pop shops offer sales on Black Friday as well. Check with them to see if they are having a sale so you know what they are offering before the big day arrives.

Check for rebates, read the whole ad and do your homework! This will allow you to maximize your savings while shopping on Black Friday!!
