Blueberry Popsicle Day
Blueberry Popsicle Day is celebrated each year on September 2nd. There isn’t anything more refreshing than a cold Popsicle on a hot day. But the popsicle came into existence by accident one day when a boy named Frank Epperson left some juice out overnight. The Popsicle was called the “Epsicle” in 1905 but in 1923 it’s name was changed to the Popsicle. I for one am thankful that he left his drink outside so that the Epsicle/Popsicle was born! It is one of my all time favorite treats even as an adult.
So celebrate this unique holiday by making your own Blueberry Popsicles today! Will you be celebrating this food holiday?
