Botanicals for Beauty Review
Botanicals for Beauty is a small company that is hand makes vegan skin care as well as bath and beauty products. They hand make all of their products in small batches so they don’t have to use harsh chemicals in most of their beauty products. I love the fact that they are a small company and carry 87 product choices with over 30 scents to choose from. I believe that almost anyone could find a product that fits their budget, needs and work great as well.
Botanicals for Beauty sent me this super cute package full of 8 samples of some of their products and so far I have to say I am impressed. I received a Whipped Shea Sample, French Lavender Bath Oil, Apricot Scrub, Neroli Bath Oil, Blackberry Pomegranate Lip Glass, Coconut milk and peaches lip gloss, Romantic Whispers, and French Lace perfumes samples in my package. I was super excited to find them all neatly packaged and was ready to use them the day they arrived. You can purchase your own sampler pack for only $18 from her website which is a great way to try new products.
My favorite product was probably the Apricot Scrub because of the smell and texture. It was super easy to rub in, smelled fabulous and a little bit goes a long way which is perfect in my opinion. I did use a little bit of soap with the scrub because I couldn’t get it off of my hands very easily, but that is a good thing! My hands are as smooth as they have been in years and I love the little container it came in. It is the perfect size for travel so I get to take it with me on my upcoming trip!!
The French Lavender bath oil was a great product but the lavender smell for me was a little overpowering. If you are a French Lavender lover than this would be the perfect oil for you because you don’t have to use a lot of it to make your skin silky soft!! The Neroli Bath Oil was my favorite out of the two bath oils that I was sent and they make for a great relaxing bath after a long day.
The lip gloss had me worried at first because I am a lip balm fanatic. I have lots of tubes of various flavors and knew that I would love them. True to my thoughts my lips felt silky smooth, glossy in appearance and tasted fabulous. I was surprised at the Coconut Milk and Peaches flavored though because it reminded me of sunscreen lotion followed by a splash of peach. It is very unique and a steal at only $6.50 for a tube of lip gloss.
The perfumes I was sent included Romantic Whispers and French Lace. The Romantic Whispers is the perfect name for the smell because it had a soft orange and vanilla smell. The French Lace was my least favorite but that is no surprise to me because of the lavender smell. I would definitely purchase a bottle of Romantic Whispers the next time I am in need of perfume!! The whipped shea cream was also a great addition to the sampler and I have heels that are now ready for summer thanks to this awesome whipped shea cream!!
