Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie

Growing up, I loved reading the Captain Underpants series. I would read and reread my favorite stories, using my imagination to make the story more real to me. Now, years later, my son reads Captain Underpants and he loves them just as much as I do. So when I got the opportunity to watch the Captain Underpants movie, I was excited! Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie did not disappoint. This movie made my childhood imaginations come to life!

The Humor

The humor in this movie lives up to the humor displayed in the books. Who wouldn’t laugh at an adult who has been hypnotized to run around in his underwear?? We laughed constantly at the antics in this movie.

The Friendship

One thing I always enjoyed about the series is the friendship between Harold and George. Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie perfectly displays this close friendship that has been founded on pranks and a shared love for anything silly.

If you haven’t had a chance to see Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, you should definitely add it to your list of things to do. Both you and your children will enjoy it.
