Care Bear & Cousins: Take Heart Volume 1 is a great movie for families to watch. My son is an only child, which means that he misses out on a lot of the sibling fun that larger families have. Because of this, I’m always looking for different movies and activities for my son to do with his cousins, my nieces and nephews. Care Bears & Cousins: Take Heart Volume 1 was the perfect addition to our list of things to do with family. It’s entertaining, family-friendly, and downright cute!
This DVD comes with 6 episodes that were all so fun to watch. Without getting into too much detail (no spoilers here!), I loved how all of the characters of Care-a-Lot work together to solve their problems. The best thing is, they do it with a caring spirit, so I know that my son, nieces, and nephews are all being taught how to care about others. This lets me turn on the TV guilt-free!
After watching the different episodes, Jayce was all about pretending to be Brave Heart Lion, one of the Care Bears cousins. Of course, he also decided which of the other characters his cousins would be. It was so fun watching him use his imagination and involving all of his younger cousins in his make-believe world.
I would definitely recommend Care Bears & Cousins: Take Heart Volume 1 for any family that is looking for a heartwarming show for their next movie night. It was a joy to watch!
