Cheap Christmas Gift Ideas for Your Neighbor

I am the kind of person that loves to give everyone gifts. However, let us all be honest. Giving during the holiday season can be super expensive. This year I am thinking of starting my cost-cutting by sending ecards for Christmas. In addition, while I enjoy giving gifts to our neighbor, I wanted to keep it cheap, but not look cheap. Here are some cheap Christmas gift ideas for your neighbor.”

Baked Goods

Around here, baked good always win. Although it can be expensive to make baked goods, it can also be a lot cheaper than trying to buy gift baskets. Brownies, cookies, candies, or anything else sweet—always makes an awesome treat for your neighbor this holiday season.

When it comes to your neighbor, they probably don’t expect you to sign over a huge check. I like to hand out gift cards to our neighbors. I usually buy coffee gift cards and put them in a cute Christmas card. A $5 gift card shows how much you love them being their neighbor, but it doesn’t break the bank. Or stock them up on K-Cups for the next month, while it will be a little more, they will still know you care.

A Nice Note

Just because you are neighbors, it doesn’t mean you must buy them something. In fact, a nice note letting them know how much they are loved and how much you love living by them is a generous thought. If you can’t afford to buy your neighbors something, a card with a nice note inside is the next best thing.

Invite them Over

While having a holiday party, isn’t the cheapest thing you can do, it’s still affordable. Have a potluck dinner and invite all your neighbors over! You can hand out cookies and hot chocolate, it doesn’t need to be fancy. By inviting them over, you’re making everyone feel welcome and warm and fuzzy inside.
