Cinnamon Caramel Apple Cream Cheese
Who is ready for a super easy fall recipe? I love making this recipe anytime of the year, but right now my brain can’t stop thinking about it. I mean, with only four ingredients, you really cannot go wrong with making it. I also like to bring this Cinnamon Caramel Apple Cream Cheese recipe with me to parties, carry-in dinners and almost everywhere.
Life’s too short, so enjoy dessert first. It doesn’t hurt you to do it every now and again. If you don’t want apples you can use graham crackers or even animal crackers as a dipper. But I do have to admit that my favorite is apples though. This is also one of our go to dishes when we want a snack and it always goes with us for Thanksgiving gatherings because it is an easy dish to make, clean up after and all guests enjoy it.
1 block of cream cheese
2 green apples
2/3 cup caramel
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Chop one apple into dice 1/2″ cubes. Slice other apple into slices.
Place cream cheese on a plate and top with caramel. Top with diced apples. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
Serve with apple slices or crackers.
That’s it. Just remember to soak your apple slices in lemon juice if you are serving them later, but if you are serving immediately there is no reason for the lemon juice. And as if you need more reasons to make this delicious recipe, but I wanted to mention that there are lots of health benefits to eating apples! What other easy apple recipes do you love in the fall?
