Corned Beef Day is March 17th!
Celebrate two holidays in one because March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day and Corned Beef Day!! Corned beef is made of beef that has been cured in salt brine. Although it is celebrated on St. Patrick’s Day and thought to be a traditional Irish dish, the people of Ireland traditionally prepared this meal with bacon. Most of the population of Ireland did not eat beef due to its high price. Corned beef is great boiled with cabbage or on a deli sandwich. It can be sold in the meat section or in a can. Choose a recipe and make a great dish for your family this St. Patrick’s Day!!
