Cotton Candy Day!! Our daughter loves Cotton Candy and I would have to say that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!! Cotton Candy wasn’t always called Cotton Candy it started out as fairy floss which is a very unique name! It is celebrated today because back in 1899 William Morrison and John C. Wharton patented the Cotton candy Machine. Then brought it to the 1904 Fair in St. Louis where it became one of America’s favorite amusement/fair foods. Now we can purchase this yummy treat year around at chain stores and movie theaters but the fair Cotton candy is always my absolute favorite!!
