Cowabunga Dude!
Cowabunga Dude! Growing up in the 80’s and 90’s the color neon was all of the rage right along with boom boxes, big hair and of course the famous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The four turtles loved their pizza, Ninjutsu and learned to work together to rely on themselves and each other quickly becoming modern day heroes. The four turtles came from their sewer lair to fight the evils of New York City under their sensei Master Splinter who was rat. Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello and Raphael were the force to be reckoned when they were fighting the villains!! My absolute favorite line of the entire movie was when Leonardo said, “The pizza just got here.” To which Michelangelo replied, “Cowabunga Dude!” and the catch phrase was more popular than the color neon, well almost!!
Through the years we as fans have grown older and left our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles memories in the past, but on August 8th the fantastic four will be on the big screen again! Once again darkness has settled over New York city and of course Shredder and his evil Foot Clan has their clutch on the everything in the town including the police and politicians. Because of this darkness New York City needs the help of the four brothers to rise from the sewers once again. They will discover their destiny to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a whole new generation to be drawn into the Cowabunga Dude line!!
However, the fantastic four won’t be alone they will have to work with the fearless reporter April O’Neil (Megan Fox) and her cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett) to save New York City once again. Of course Shredder has an evil plan but in true Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fashion I am positive that they will overcome any and all obstacles in their way to be the heroes once again.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be in theaters as well as RealD 3D on August 8th and is of course based on the characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman with a Screenplay by Josh Appelbaum & Andre Nemec and Evan Daughtery, Producer Michael Bay (the blockbuster Transformers franchise) and director Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans)! The Cast includes: Megan Fox, Will Arnett, William Fichtner, K. Todd Freeman, Danny Woodburn, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Alan Ritchson, and Minae Noji!! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles does have a rating of PG-13 so be sure you go with the kids to watch this epic movie!! We will be heading out on August 8th to relive some of our childhood memories as they hit the big screen again!! But in the meantime make up some pizza’s to get them in the mood! 🙂
