O man! A great time of the year is here. Before you whip out those Christmas decorations, it’s time to do a little decorating for Thanksgiving. You may be a little confused on how to make your home look good, but these tips will help you out.
Focus on a Centerpiece
When decorating for Thanksgiving, you need to start somewhere. That’s why a centerpiece is a great starting point. Centerpieces help you to focus on the table decorations and it kind of balances everything out. You can use anything you have around your house that is Thanksgiving themed, or you can focus on making a centerpiece yourself.
Turkeys Galore
One of my favorite ways to decorate for Thanksgiving is using turkeys. I pick up odd ball turkeys wherever I am and use them around Thanksgiving to decorate. I also accept turkeys as gifts around the holidays. If you come to my house, you may just be turkied out. I think it’s a fun way to decorate without being too serious or going too overboard on the decorating budget.
Keep it Simple
I think you can really overdo it with Thanksgiving décor if you’re not careful. Keep the décor simple with maybe a Thanksgiving wreath, candles, and leaf garland. It’s amazing how keeping things a little sane can make your home still seem inviting, but not overwhelming.
