Disney’s Planes Landing Zone Preparty and Premiere

Disney’s Planes Landing Zone Pre-party and Premiere! The Red Carpet glitz and glamour is just a little piece of the excitement I’ve experienced over the last few days. I was busy tweeting, instagraming and of course posting on Facebook updates when time allowed for it along my way, but while a the Pre-Party and premiere I got so caught up in the excitement I forgot to do most of them. The Disney magic took over and the trip as well as the premiere were absolutely amazing. It was an experience that I will never forget and will cherish for the rest of my life.

This was my first ever big trip experience celebrating with celebrities along the way, although I didn’t talk to anyone it was an amazing experience to see them interacting with their kids. Teri Hatcher and daughter Emerson, Dane Cook, Dave Coulier, Alissa Millano, Alison Sweeney, Hillary Duff, Jason Priestley, John Ratzenburger and Julia Louise-Dreyfus to name a few. There were several there that I didn’t see but one thing for sure is that it was a family fun event that was set up to be like a cross between a street fair and carnival midway.

The Target Landing Zone was held right on Hollywood Boulevard and was filled on both sides with carnival type foods and games. Some of my favorite games was the Ski ball game, balloon pop with darts, basketball hoops and shooting balls from guns in teams of two. I played a few so I could win some of the great prizes that Target was giving away. Kids, parents, bloggers, celebrities and everyone in attendance had smiles from ear to ear. Everyone seemed to be having a fantastic time and were laden down with prizes they had won myself included. Some of the fair food included churros, corn on the cob, sliders, pizza, Jamba Juice smoothies and gift cards from Jamba Juice were being passed out. There was plenty of food, games, and prizes for everyone in attendance. Target stores nationwide are carrying a wide variety of Planes merchandise so make sure you check your local stores to find some amazing bargains!

As the party was winding downwe made our way into the El Capitan Theatre to watch the premiere of the movie Planes which opens nationwide on Friday, August 9th! I grabbed my bucket of Planes popcorn, bottle of water and turned around and was face-to-face with Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves Raymond. I muttered my apologies as he hurried off to watch the show. My favorite characters were Dusty and El Chupacabra because in the end Dusty is the modern day “Little Engine that Could”.
