DIY Frankenstein
This DIY Frankenstein is one of my favorite Halloween decorations that I have this year. It is simple to make as well as fun and something that is cheap too! The kids will enjoy making them as well and it would be the perfect Halloween party idea for kids too. I would suggest that if you are going to have kids make them at a party to pain them ahead of time, and then just take the eyes and sharpies to the school. Each DIY Frankenstein will come out unique and that is half of the fun. Let the kids get creative and show them how you made yours but then let them make their own. I promise that each Frankenstein will be as unique as each child which is why I love to do things like this with the kids.
Supplies needed:
Square cardboard ornament ($1 at Michael’s)
Green craft
Black marker
Googly eyes
Craft glue
Directions:
1. Begin by covering the box with two coats of bright green
2. Add some glue to the back of the googly eyes and press into place.
3. Use your black marker for other facial features such as a stitch mouth and some quick lines for hair.
You can either keep the hanger on the ornament in place for easy display, or remove and simply stack up your Frankenstein heads for a fun decorative effect. Either way you go this will be a fun and easy craft that you can make for an easy Halloween decoration.
