Eating Healthy Tips for the New Year

Eating Healthy Tips for the New Year

I can’t believe that the New Year is almost here. I’m excited, but I also know it’s time to whip my diet into shape. Every New Year is a fresh start to get back on the smart eating train. With this in mind, I know some of my readers have a desire to eat a little healthier. Why do all the work ourselves? Check out these healthy eating tips for the New Year.

Eating Healthy Tips for the New Year

Drink more water

If you can’t do anything else to help yourself with healthy eating, drink more water. Water is a natural healthy staple we can all use. Drink a few more glasses of water to help you get back on the healthy eating train.

More veggies

One thing I love about simplicity is that it helps us to keep our sanity. For example, eating more veggies is another GREAT way to eat healthy this New Year. I like to make a few simple salads and enjoy them throughout the week. Already made salads are so easy to pull out of the fridge.

Get an accountability partner

Don’t try to do everything yourself, get an accountability partner. There is something special about sharing your failures and wins with a person. Pick someone that will build you up and make your healthy eating endeavors successful.

Stock up on great cookbooks

Let’s be honest, eating the same thing over and over again can get old. Which is why I’m excited to tell you all about these three full-color cookbooks. Each one has awesome healthy recipes that are easy and delicious. I did receive copies of these books, however, all opinions are 100% my own.

I agree with you. Some people are not so health conscious. I hope these tips of yours would enlighten a lot of people about calorie intake. I am now more inspired to be healthy!

Your tips are all amazing! Water can also help us on our diet. Drinking water is good to our health. Not drinking enough water can cause us headaches, migraine and dry skin.

Drinking water daily makes a huge difference especially if you are one of those people like I was who only had coffee and soda all day everyday. You feel so revived.

Sandra Watts

I need a cook and an accountability partner. Maybe just then I will have more luck.

I admit I likely dont drink enough water. I go through phases where I will get 8 glasses and then I wont. I really do need to work on it!

This was a great article for me, I don’t eat the right way and all this looks so good.

These are great healthy eating tips, thanks for sharing! I have vowed to drink AT LEAST 8 cups of water a day from now on, this is something that I have wanted to work on for awhile now. What works for me is ticking off the glasses I drink on a dry erase board on my refrigerator.
