Fall is here, and with it comes so many opportunities to spend time with family and loved ones. There are so many family friendly activities to enjoy each fall, the hard part can be fitting them all in. So where do you begin? Take a look below at 15 things to do his fall so you can be sure you make the most of these action packed months! After all, the snow is coming soon! Here are some ideas to get you started.

1. Visit a pumpkin patch.
Visit a local pumpkin patch so you can pick out the perfect pumpkins. Watch the weather forecast so you can choose a day that is sunny yet cool, then throw on a flannel and boots and head out for a day of fun.

2. GO apple picking.
Apples are in season now, so visit a local orchard and pick to your heart’s desire. When you are done you can always enjoy a picnic, or go home and try making your own apple pie or apple crisp.

3. Enjoy a hayride.
Find a local farm offering hay rides and go for a quick trip. Enjoy a hayride out in the country or out to a pumpkin patch.

4. Have a bonfire.
Autumn nights are chilly, but a bonfire can help. Enjoy a backyard bonfire and even enjoy s’mores or roast hot dog while you are at it. It is a great way to stay warm on these cool nights.

5. Carve pumpkins.
Get those pumpkins front porch ready when you carve and display them. See who can get the most creative with their pumpkins and go. When you are done, light them up and display them on he porch for all to see.

6. Organize your Halloween costumes.
Head to the thrift store o get those Halloween costumes ready. Look for fun tops, capes, jewelry, hats, and anything else you might need to get the outfit together. Hurry, trick or treating will start before you know it.

7. Find a trunk or treat.
Find a local church or recreation center hosing a trunk or treat. Pack up the kids and enjoy some safe and fun trick or treating.

8. Make your own candied apples.
The internet is full of amazing candy apple recipes so give one a try. It is a great way to use up the apples from your apple picking adventures.

9. Visit a corn maze.
Head to a local farm offering a corn maze and give it your best shot!

10. Build a scare crow.
Gather some old clothes and straw and build your own scare crow to keep the birds away.

11. Jump in leaves.
What could be more fun than jumping in leaves or a leaf fight? Rake those crispy leaves up and jump on in!

12. Try some Halloween crafts.
Make your own Halloween theme crafts. Select from the thousands of ideas on Pinterest, gather your supplies, and have a family craft night.

13. Watch scary movies.
Choose from your favorite family friendly scary movies and have a family movie night.

14. Look through pictures from past Halloween.
Laugh at your costumes and relive some fun memories!

15. Play ghosts in the graveyard.
Basically this can be a game of night time tag, Use flashlights if you wish for more fun!

I visited a Pumpkin patch, went on a hayride and picked apples and got my pumpkin. It was so much fun to do with the family. They had the Apple festival in my town and it was great!
