Find Sacha From The Long Way North
The animated feature Long Way North from Shout! Factory Kids and Shout! Factory Films a film by Rémi Chayé, will open theatrically on September 30, 2016 in Los Angeles, New York and select major markets, to be followed by openings in additional cities. This one will be a fun one to watch. I received an advance screener copy to “review” the movie and to say it was interesting would have been an understatement. A 15 year old girl (Sacha) sets of on a journey to find her grandfather in the North.
But when she ran away from home she boarded the train and of course didn’t have a ticket. But that didn’t stop her because she was determined to find what she was looking for. After being taken advantage of the “princess” learns the hard way that hard work is the “poor” persons way. After finding help in an unlikely source she learns how to wake up earlier, work hard, and of course keep dreaming. While I don’t want to give away the movie, I will tell you that heading out to watch it in theaters on 9/30 with the family would be an excellent choice.
