Easy Garlic & Herb Provolone Chicken Recipe
Cooking is something that we all do daily, but we are also very busy as a society. While we are Empty Nesters, our daughter has been staying with us for a few weeks because of her pregnancy. Her husband works out of state, so this is the best solution for us, right now anyway. But with her being back home, we have had to modify our eating schedules because she often times doesn’t get home until 5:30 or 6:00 pm. Sometimes it’s even later than that, and as busy parents, we all know how easy it is to pull into a drive-thru and order something to go.
However, today we are going to talk about the Mealthy Multipot that has literally saved us time, money and of course our sanity. Why do you ask? Simple, it’s like a crock-pot but even better! Because you can put everything into the Mealthy, hit delay start, set the time and then click one button to tell it how you want to cook. How cool is that???
Then when you walk in the door you have a hot, nutritious meal that the entire family will enjoy. But with the Pressure Cooking feature, you can cook my recipe in under 30 minutes from when you hit the door. Today I’m going to tell you how to make my Garlic & Herb Savory Chicken.
Place the desired number of chicken breasts into the bottom of your Mealthy Multipot. (I used 1 big breast that was cut into serving sizes.
Slice one onion, and place over the raw chicken.
Slice 4 whole mushrooms, place over the onions.
Add one large handful of fresh spinach (more or less depending on your family.)
Add 1 packet of Lipton’s Recipe Savory Herb & Garlic over the top of it all.
Put the lid onto your Mealhty Multipot and pressure cook for 20 minutes. After that 20 minutes, release the steam build up, cover the breasts (strips) with provolone cheese. Saute in the Mealthy Multi-pot to remove extra liquids, and melt the cheese for 5 minutes. Release the steam, and serve.
We enjoyed the Garlic & Herb Savory Chicken with a side salad, but it makes the perfect amount of liquid so it would be easy to serve over rice. No matter what recipe you try, once you cook in a Mealthy Multipot, you will wonder how you ever cooked without it. Check out the Mealthy Multipot because this is a must own kitchen appliance for everyone!
