Ghost Cakes Perfect For Halloween Treats
Ghost Cakes Perfect For Halloween Treats! They are easy to make, affordable and you won’t have to worry about allergic reactions because the products are peanut free! These will make the perfect classroom party snacks!
Ghost Cakes –
1 10 ct. package of Little Debbie White Fancy Cakes
10 orange & black straws; I found mine at Walmart in the Halloween section. I’ve also seen these at Joann’s in the Wilton Halloween area.
black frosting
small sandwich baggie
kitchen scissors
Wilton candy eyes; you will need 20 eyes total (located in the Wilton section at major retailers and craft stores)
Directions –
#1. Open all five packages of the Fancy Cakes and remove all ten cakes from their wrappers.
#2. Insert one straw into the base of each cake.
#3. Scoop a few tablespoons of black frosting into your sandwich baggie and make a small snip in the corner of the baggie using the kitchen scissors.
#4. Gently squeeze the frosting out of the baggie and a little bit onto the back of each candy eye and give each Ghost a pair of eyes. Work your way down the assembly line. π
#5. Once all the Ghost have eyes, give them each a mouth. Have fun with it.
Happy, sad, squiggly; you name it. If you have older kiddos they can even help with this!
*Makes 10 Ghosts. 1 Ghost =- 1 serving.
**If not serving immediately cover (I use 9×13 baking pan with a lid) and store in a cool and dry area.
