Give the Gift of Natural

Give the Gift of Natural
Left is before, Right is after and you can see a huge difference using the Aubrey Collagen Restorative Moisturizer.

Give the Gift of Natural with products from the Natural Products Association. The older I get the more natural I tend to go in beauty products, but knowing what is truely natural is often times a trick. However, with The Natural Seal from the Natural Products Association is the first and only natural certification in the country. Products with the Natural Seal are certified to:

  • Contain at least 95 percent natural ingredients or those coming from natural sources (excluding water);
  • Avoid ingredients with health risks;
  • Do not use animal testing; and
  •  Include biodegradable or recycled material in the packing.

They sent me some amazing beauty products to try out and I had heard of some of the brands before but not all of them. Aubrey Collagen Restorative Moisturizer is a rejuvenating and Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer for all skin types. It has a very clean smell which I expected something more medicinal which was a pleasant surprise. A little goes a long way and it leaves your skin smoother after the first application. It of course has the 100% natural ingredients and it is recommended you use it twice a day to achieve the best results.

Did you know that 73 percent of shoppers are more likely to buy a product if they know it is certified natural? So when you are doing some Christmas shopping be sure to check out the hundreds of personal care products certified with the Natural Seal, shoppers have many options for treating friends and family to natural products—including cosmetics, lotions, bath salts, shampoos, and more.

They also sent one of my favorite brands of products which happens to be Burt’s Bees. They sent a Hibiscus Tinted Lip balm that gives me just a little bit of color and protects my lips at the same time. I’m not much of a lipstick wearer but this 100% natural product fits the bill nicely, and provides just a little bit of color while keeping my lips hydrated as well so it is a win, win.

They also sent two samples of Sow Good products which I had never heard of before so that was a nice addition to my package. The first was a Sow Good Men 3-in-1 Natural Shampoo, Shower and Shaving Gel that smelled link mint. Mr. SMSL said he liked it, but he wasn’t sure he would use it everyday. Which is pretty normal for him, I put it in the bathroom and he will use it, I would almost guarantee it! The other Sow Good product was a Natural Eae de Parum called Generosity. It had a very clean smell that reminded me of a fresh summer day filled with orange and other natural smells. I was pleasantly surprised at the aroma and will wear it until it runs out because it is only a .07 fl ounce sample.

The last product was the J.R. Watkins Naturals Apothecary Shea Butter Hand cream and it was surprisingly my favorite scent. It had a very lemony cream smeell and it was amazing to use on my dry winter skin. No matter which product or products you choose, they will be a hit with any woman on your gift giving list!!

Be sure to like the Natural Seal on Facebook or follow on Twitter.

“Natural products are increasingly preferred by people looking for healthier options,” said Cara Welch, Ph.D., senior vice president of scientific and regulatory affairs at the Natural Products Association. “The Natural Seal helps shoppers find natural products that meet a certain standard. In fact, I buy them for my family!”

The products in this post were given to me in exchange for my review/opinion by The Natural Products Association. Even though these products were provided to me at no cost, I only personally recommend products that I think will be good for myself and readers. Thanks to The Natural Products Association for allowing me to review this great products.
