Great Way to Save on College Textbooks
Great Way to Save on College Textbooks I remember all to well the prices of things when I was attending college. Now that it has been a few years (ok, several years), I am now looking toward the future. Our daughter is now 16 years old and Junior in High school so that means college is just around the corner. We have been saving for a few years but I know that there are some great programs out there and Campus Book Rentals is one of the programs I have recently found. This year she is even taking her own first college course through the school. I didn’t have to purchase books, but I do know that it is just right around the corner!
Campus Book Rentals is a great program for college students to use because they have some great perks and you save lots of money as well. Some of their perks include: -save 40-90% off of bookstore prices–AMAZING!! I had to pay full price for mine, think of the savings you would rack up! -free shipping both ways (Awesome advantage because shipping costs will cost you an arm and a leg now days.) -can highlight in the textbooks–I was a constant highlighter -flexible renting periods (this is a great idea, because college dates are all different across the nation) -they donate to Operation Smile with each textbook rented–With each textbook rented they donate to them!! How cool is that!! A company that pays it forward!! Since our daughter is going into nursing (or this year she is anyway) I wanted to check one of the most expensive books out there!! Anatomy and Physiology and I was pleasantly surprised when I found it was only $29.58!! That is a SAVINGS of $151.42!! WOW!! Talk about impressive, check it out for yourselves here! We also have a cousin that is in college and she has personally used Campus Book rentals over the past 2 years and has saved over $2,000!! That is a huge savings for any college student and you should definitely use Campus Book Rentals for your college books soon!!
I also love that they work with Operation Smile to help save lives! My brother was born with a cleft lip and palette and the surgeries he has had to have through the years are countless. Operation Smile was set up in 1982 which was only a few years after my brother was born. They have helped countless children through the years and I love the fact that they are giving back to those that are less fortunate. They even have a new program called RentBack!! RentBack is new initiative that allows students to rent the textbooks they own – to other students… which is awesome because it makes them 2-4x more money compared to what they’d make through buyback options! Such as selling their books back at the end of the semester and we all know college is expensive!!
Isn’t that awesome?! Check out the video on the RentBack option below!!
How does it work?:
