Greywycke: A Novel
I received Greywycke, a novel by Roger Davis, in exchange for this post, however all opinions are 100% my own.
If you’re looking for a new book to read, then I highly recommend Greywycke by Roger Davis. This historical fiction novel had me on the edge of my seat as it combined two of my favorite genres, both history and mystery, in one magnificent story.
It’s Mysterious
There is a lot of mystery in this novel as the main character, Lady Kaline, navigates the social season. I’m usually very good at guessing endings, but this book definitely had me stumped as I tried to piece together the different parts of the mystery. I couldn’t believe the ending!
It’s Adventurous
I love how many adventures Lady Kaline has throughout this story. It’s so exciting to watch her find her way as a strong and independent woman. She has to learn to trust herself rather than the men in her life, as is the custom in that day.
My Recommendation
I would definitely recommend this novel to anyone who loves reading. Not only is it well written and interesting, Roger Davis also did a wonderful job of twisting historical fiction and mystery into a novel you won’t soon forget. Join Lady Kaline and the other characters in Greywycke on their exciting adventure. This was the author’s first novel and he did an exceptional job. I can’t wait to see what else he has in store for his readers.
About the Author
Roger Davis is a student of history and avid reader of many historic novels. He currently lives in South Carolina. This is his first book.
