Holiday Kitchen Must Haves

The holidays can be completely full of stress, which is why I try to be as prepared as possible. Since I do a lot of cooking around the holidays, it’s important that I have everything I need to make cooking very simple for me. I thought I’d share my best tips for having the perfect tools for cooking this holiday season.

#1. Plenty of Potholders

The holidays are always the times that I discover I have no potholders. Now, I head to the dollar store to stock up on potholders before I even start cooking and baking. There’s nothing more annoying than trying to get items out of the oven and you have no pot holders on hand. This is a must have tool for me for cooking over the holiday season.

#2. The Right Kitchen Cookware Set

Holiday baking and cooking is all about the right cookware set. Without the right set of pans, you can’t cook like you need to. I use the 14-Pc. Stainless Steel Cookware Set with Goldtone Accents to get all my holiday cooking and baking done! Here are some of my favorite features of this cookware set.

  • mirror-finish
  • non-stick fry pan
  • featuring encapsulated bottoms for quick & easy heating
  • hand wash

I love this cookware set for many reasons, but I really love that it is budget friendly and can fit into our holiday budget. This also makes a great gift set for a newly married couple, or even a couple that needs a slight upgrade.

#3. A Heavy Duty Thermometer

How many times have you cooked something without a thermometer? One of the best tools you can have in your kitchen for cooking this holiday season is a thermometer. Spend a little money on one that is reusable and that you can keep in your kitchen for many holidays to come!

I hope that these tips for the right tools help you have a better Christmas cooking season. Cooking over the holidays doesn’t need to be a disaster, with the right tools it can be a huge success.
