Cleaning is a necessary evil at everyone’s house and is probably one of the least favorite activities for most of us. We have a cleaning schedule if you will for cleaning that has to be done each day, week, and of course month. It just helps keep our house orderly and all of the dirt, grim and yuckiness at bay. But one of the best inventions ever has to be a steam cleaner because it allows you to clean without harsh chemicals. The older I get the more eco-friendly I find myself being which is nice. But not only is living more green a benefit to me, but it also saves me money each month so the money I spend out of pocket is lower! That my friends is a win, win because who doesn’t like to save some money??
The latest addition to my household is the Homeright SteamMachine Plus. I’ve owned the Steam Cleaner for a few months and absolutely love that I can clean walls, cabinets and virtually anything else with it and not use a single cleaner. I was very skeptical at first when it came to just using steam for cleaning because it was a new concept to me, but I have since put my fears to rest and wouldn’t have it any other way!
The first time I used the Homeright SteamMachine Plus I fell in love because cleaning my floors had never been easier.
The SteamMachine Plus Multi-Purpose Steam Mop from HomeRight is ideal for quick, daily, chemical-free cleaning. This multi-purpose steam mop heats up quickly and is great for quick daily floor cleaning. The SteamMachine Plus features a detachable hand-held steamer. The included 6 attachments are ideal for cleaning and disinfecting stovetops, ovens, grills, countertops and bathrooms. The 205 degree temperature steam at nozzle kills 99.9 percent of germs and bacteria including e-coli, salmonella, and staph. The handle folds down for easy storage and also features on-demand steam trigger on handle, plus a cord wrap on the handle. The floor mop and pad features a swivel triangular mop head for added maneuverability. Use the SteamMachine Plus to disinfect your hard floor surfaces; such as laminate, hardwood, tile, stone, vinyl and linoleum.
Pros of the Homeright SteamMachine Plus
- It heats up very quickly!! 30 seconds and the light is blue and you are ready to clean.
- There are several attachments that allow you to clean floors, cabinets, nooks, crannies, and even carpets!! There are 6 attachments to use so that is a definite benefit!
- Homeright SteamMachine Plus has a detachable unit, so you can clean things that you couldn’t necessarily clean with it attached.
- The Homeright SteamMachine Plus folds up and is easy to store!
- Homeright SteamMachine Plus comes with 2 pads and they are easy to clean!
Cons of the Homeright SteamMachine Plus
- There isn’t anywhere to store the attachments on the machine. I found an empty basket I could use, but it has to be kept in a different location than the steam cleaner.
- The carpet attachment is a little too small for my liking, but it will be great for spot cleaning!
- No clean smell that you get after using cleaners, but it does kill 99% of the germs, so I’m ok with it.
