Hot Pastrami Day
Each day of the year passes just as quickly as the next one the older I get. But what I didn't realize until I started blogging is that each day usually has a food holiday to celebrate!
Hot Pastrami Day is celebrated each year on January 14th. Pastrami is one of the deli sandwich staples for lots of people. Pastrami is brined, seasoned and smoked meat that the Romanians brought over to the United States. New York of course is known for their Pastrami History at Delancy Street Deli where the “pastrami” was born so to speak.
So in honor of Hot Pastrami Day make sure you enjoy a sandwich for this special day!! One of my favorite ways to enjoy pastrami is pickles, cream cheese and of course pastrami to make little snacks!
