Go for grilled patties

You should avoid deep-fried patties and rather choose healthier options for cooking like grilling and baking. This will help you keep the calorie count in check while also giving you a lip-smacking taste of your favorite kind of food.

Grilled or baked patties will serve as a good substitute and give you the balance of carbs and flavor that will ease the guilt of eating out when you are planning to consume fewer carbs.

Take away the bun

Try throwing away with th bun in burgers. This will reduce your carb intake by a considerable amount and will give you more space to consume the fillings. This is the golden rule when it comes to eating keto-friendly fast food. By simply not eating the bakery, you will cut most of the carbs in your dish.

You can get a lettuce-wrapped burger instead, that will provide you with the benefits of greens and take the extra carbs away while also being scrumptious and healthy at the same time. Taking away the bread will make you feel lighter after consuming the burger.

Bowled sandwiches

Subs and sandwiches can be asked for in a bowl, which allows you to lower your carb intake and you can also ask to add extra keto-friendly ingredients such as meat, cheese, avocado and olives in your bowl.

You can choose to have more condiments like guacamole, ranch dressing and mayo for flavor and taste, but make sure you do that in limited quantities as well. Take specific amounts and work your way through what suits you the best gradually.

Burrito Bowl

Burrito bowls are another great healthy option to go with. Even Chipotle also offers new keto diet-friendly burrito bowls for low carb dieters.

The tortilla wrap can be skipped, and you can consume the inner fillings that will help you have a stomach full of good taste and yet doesn’t feel too heavy.

Removing the wrap is an effective way to cut down on the carbs. It is an excellent option if you are a regular meat-eater or rice consumer, and your taste will not be compromised while giving you a healthy intake. Some joints also offer salad so you can always make the choice healthier by opting for that.

Consuming caffeinated beverages

The inclusion of unhealthy drinks like soda makes our stomach acidic and adds to the calorie intake in an unhealthy way. If you like milk in your tea or coffee, try going for heavy cream or half-and-half, or include unsweetened substitutes of dairy milk like soy milk or almond milk. This will bring down the carb intake a lot. You can get a lot of energy and digest better through these beverages while also keeping the calories in check.

Salads

The but-obvious option that we’d like to underline is that salads exist. They are tasty and healthy, and as long as you have in check the ingredients’ quantities, you’re good. It is essential to have your proteins and greens.

Salads are a great way to ensure that and so should definitely be opted for when you choose to eat out. There are some special salads famous for their meat or sauce options, so you can modify and make the best out of this healthy choice as well.

My family on my dad’s side is Italian. They have bread with almost every meal. I have to admit that I like a nice buttery piece of bread with my dinner. I do like the bowled sandwiches. I shared that bowl on Pinterest. It’s hard to give up a habit.
    Thank you for sharing.
