How to Survive Without a Car

No one wants to think of what life would be like without a car. However, sometimes it happens. Sometimes you’re forced to survive without a car. Maybe you’re in the process of buying a new one or you just can’t afford it right now. Here is how to survive without a car.

How to Survive Without a Car

#1. Plan for how you will get place.

Whether you’re taking Lyft, Uber, or an ordinary taxi, you need a plan in place. A plan for how you will get different places is important. You will need to go to the store at some point, so get a plan in place ASAP! Maybe friend can help you get where you need to go.

#2. Give public transportation a try.

There are people who still take the bus and the subway. Public transportation is always a great idea because it’s inexpensive. Compared to the cost of owning a vehicle, public transportation is super inexpensive and easy.

#3. Bike your way to your destinations.

Hey, no one is above biking. Many cities are even becoming biker friendly. Just practice bike safety, while biking, and ensure you have the proper helmet on. You do need to watch out for vehicles though, not all cars pay attention to what is going on around them.

#4. Walk where you need to go.

If you don’t have a car, one of the only options you have is to walk where you need to go. This works best if you live in the city and can easily walk to where you need to go. Most people who live in the city, don’t even own a car because they rely on public transportation.

But if you are looking for a vehicle to help you get from place to place I strongly suggest checking out all Barkau Chrysler Dodge Jep & Ram has to offer. You may not have to be without a car for much longer, and even if it takes awhile to save for one, they are worth the investment.

Owning a vehicle is an investment and we all know how expensive they are. Check out all of the “vehicle” themed articles I have on the site.
