I received an Instant Family Promotional items in exchange for this post, however, as always opinions are 100% my own.
Instant Family is more than adoption
There are literally thousands of kids in the Foster Care System and each one has a story. But Instant Family is the perfect film to show you that it takes hardwork, dedication and of course love to make any family work. While our story is a little different, Brady adopted Liz years ago and many people don’t even know she’s “adopted“. Instant Family brought back those memories of when we first started dating and we were a family long before the paperwork was filed or even approved.
About Instant Family
The heartwarming film, inspired by the real events from the life of writer/director Sean Anders, follows Pete (Mark Wahlberg) and Ellie (Rose Byrne) as they decide to start a family and stumble into the world of foster care adoption. They hope to take in one small child but when they meet three siblings, including a rebellious 15 year old girl (Isabela Moner), they find themselves speeding from zero to three kids overnight. Now, Pete and Ellie must hilariously try to learn the ropes of instant parenthood in the hopes of becoming a family.
Structure and Love
One of the things that stuck out the most to me is that the kids need structure and love to make them successful. It doesn’t matter if the kids are adopted or, if they are your own biological children, structure and love are the foundation of raising kids.
Grandma Sandy is in the house
Be a Grandma Sandy and support your grandkids no matter what they are going through. Be there for the kids and let them “make-up” you to look fabulous. Be the kind of Grandma you needed as a kid and enjoy the kids no matter what stage of life they are in.
INSTANT FAMILY is now available on Blu-Ray and DVD as well as digitial.
INSTANT FAMILY also stars Octavia Spencer, Tig Notaro and Margo Martindale. The film is rated PG-13 but
