Italian Beach Holiday

As Empty Nesters one of the things that we have learned to love is exploring our country as well as planning some trips to more unique places. While I am more of a go bug than Brady, he is always a good sport and helps me plan our next adventures. While we have always stayed in the United States when traveling together, we have decided that next year is our year to travel abroad. But, before we can plan our travel itinerary we have a few things to accomplish first.

First and foremost, we both have to apply for our United States Passports, so we will apply for those this week and sit back and relax while we start planning our first overseas adventures. We have narrowed it down to a few locations, but to be honest we both are leaning toward two opposite countries.

I personally would love to visit Italy because while browsing some Italian trips I stumbled upon some great Italy beach holiday deals. While Brady and I aren’t necessarily either one total beach bums, neither one of us can turn down a great deal. We decided we wanted to check out Tuscany and enjoy the unique island landscapes while enjoying the beaches lining the coast of Italy. Enjoying the Italian culture that will be coupled with art, culture, farmlands and of course architecture, I’m sure Italy will not disappoint.
But being the bargain shopper that I am, I loved the fact that I don’t have to pay in full the day I book our trip. I can pay 30% of the cost, as long as I book 35 days prior to the trip. And since this will be once in a lifetime trip for us, we are going all out and splurging on things we normally wouldn’t when traveling. While I can’t hit the book now button, I have enjoyed reading and learning about all of the different spots to visit while on our Italian beach holiday. But there is one thing I know for sure, no matter which location we decide to book, the trip will be one we remember for years to come.
