A League of Their Own 25th Anniversary
*I received a copy of the DVD for review purposes, however, all opinions are 100% my own.
So I’m about to let you in on a huge secret….I was old enough to remember this movie being released over 25 years ago. Mind you I was a sophomore in high school but still this was a hit back in the day and in a lot of ways this one one of the first “sports” teams that were made up of women teammates. So it was especially “cool” to see things that guys normally did for a woman to be able to do in a movie. While there were girls sports teams, they were further and farther between even in the 1990’s than they are today. It just goes to show you how much our country has changed but yet stayed the same over the last 25 years. But tomorrow April April 18th you can bring home A League of Their Own to your home! It is just as good as it was 25 years ago and I’m positive that was just yesterday for most of us. 🙂
