I had actually forgotten that they had made these to go along with The Little Mermaid, so when I had the chance to review it I was glad to get this one into the house. I don’t want to be a spoiler but this movie was so good I can’t believe I had forgotten it existed! Aeriel has a daughter after all of these years and her name is Melody but Melody doesn’t know everything about her mother’s past. Aeriel longed for the land but Melody just longs for the sea making it the flip side of the original “Little Mermiad.”

Bonus Clip Description: Spotlight on Jodi Benson singing as Ariel! She is a very talented lady and is very down to earth! 
But in true Disney fashion there had to be a “wicked witch”, Ursula was in The Little Mermaid and her skinnier sister Morgana hatches the plan. Melody is of course enchanted into a trick and ends up being a mermaid. But of course Morgana was just trying to get revenge against Ariel. This is a great sequel to The Little Mermaid!!
