Luggage Packing Tips

Luggage Packing Tips

*I received a Stow-N-Go Portable Luggage System in exchange for this post, however, all opinions are 100% my own.

I travel a lot, as many of you know. When packing, I don’t have a lot of space to just bring whatever I want. I need to be smart about what I pack and I always try to make sure I can fit it all into a carry-on so I save on luggage fees. But this year it is now June and I’ve only flew once, (what is wrong with me!!?) But that doesn’t stop me from wanted to share some luggage packing tips of mine. These tips help me when I travel and I know they’ll help you too!

Roll those clothing pieces

I know I have mentioned this before, but rolling your clothing will help save you so much space. When you don’t have a bunch of space, you have no choice but to roll. I also only wear one pair of shoes the entire trip if at all possible, but sometimes I have to bring two. When that happens I wear the bulkier of the two to the airport and wrap the others into a shower cap. That keeps the clothes and things around it clean and I don’t have to worry about finding a cleaner.

Thanks for all of your fabulous tips on how to pack quickly, efficiently and keep your clothes from getting too wrinkled. I like the way you roll the clothes. I had never thought of that. My dad travelled in 38 states for his job, so he and my mom packed all the time. My parents would pack towels or tissue paper in between clothes to keep them from shifting or wrinkling. They always used shoe bags and carried a bag for dirty clothes to keep them separate from clean clothes. My dad always packed a toiletries bag, shoe shine kit… Read more »
