You Make My Heart Glow

You Make My Heart Glow

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I wanted to offer you a few printables for the upcoming holiday. I love having my HP Envy Printer and my Silhouette Cameo because that means I can make several projects for little money out of pocket. For this project I used a combination of both of them and it allowed me to make this super cute You Make My Heart Glow Printable for Valentines Day!

As you can see it is very easy to make if you are using Silhouette software. I made 4 rectangles I just purchased the hearts from the Silhouette store online and then added them to the rectangles. After I colored in the rectangles, I added the sayings on them using the text feature. Then, printed it using my HP Envy, and used the Silhouette Print and Cut feature to finish them. But you could easily print them and use scissors to cut them out. I cut small slits into the heart using a knife so that way the glow stick would stay on the card. The rings were taped down with regular clear tape.

But I wanted to be sure and allow you to print it out, even if you don’t have a Silhouette Machine. So I made it into a PDF and a JPG format for you to be able to download.

I printed the You Make My Heart Glow onto regular printer paper, but you could print them onto cardstock to make them a little nicer. Don’t forget to have your kids sign them and write their classmates names on them too!

I bought the glow sticks and the glow rings from our local Dollar General but you can order them online for relatively cheap. Especially if you are doing lots of Valentine’s. I just made these up so I could give them to my nieces and nephews, so this works out perfectly for us.
