The older I get the more I have what I like to refer to as Maxine Moments. Maxine has been around for as long as I can remember and is always saying something smarmy about how she really feels. One of my favorites says, “I’m not hard of hearing, I’ve just heard enough.” Which is something that I’ve wanted to say to a few people in my life for years now. But more importantly Maxine is totally relatable because we all have our Maxine Moments from time to time. This year I’ve learned the hard way that life changes before you are really ready and you have a couple choices. You can sulk the days away or you can smile and go on. I’ve decided to do the later in most cases, but there have been a few times I’ve had a Maxine Moment.
I do have to say though that my favorite is the Free to Be Crabby Coffee Mug. Because sometimes I really think that everyone complains more just because they can.
