Miniature Potted Christmas Tree

Miniature Potted Christmas Tree

Miniature Potted Christmas Tree
If you are still in the market for some last minute holiday décor, look no further than this miniature potted Christmas tree. You can make your own miniature potted Christmas tree, perfect for displaying on your holiday table, desk, mantel, or anywhere that needs a pop of cheer. These would also make great items to donate to Womens’s Shelters, Nursing Homes and places that need a little bit of cheer. Have a local girl/boy scout troop, classroom, or even church youth groups make them so you can get more help  to make them in bulk. This is a great service project as well.

Here is how you can get started crafting your own.

Supplies needed:
Miniature flower pot
Red craft paint (or your choice of color craft paint)
paint brush
Bottle brush tree
Red felt or craft foam
Scissors
Craft glue

Christmas Tree Craft

Everything we used for this project we were able to find at our local craft store. Our total cost for materials was just a few dollars, making this a frugal craft that anyone can enjoy.

Directions:
1. Place the flower pot on some scrap paper and apply two coats of paint. Allow the paint to dry well.

2. Cut a bow out of your red felt or craft foam. Add a dab of glue and press to the front of the flower pot.
3. Add a dab of glue to the underside of your bottle brush tree (optional) and press it into the flower pot.

Miniature Potted Christmas Tree

Your miniature potted Christmas tree is now ready to be displayed. You can use them at place settings on your table, or you can line them up on a shelf. Either way, they are a simple yet savvy way to dress up your home for the holidays. Gather your supplies and give them a try!
