Moldy Cheese Day

Each day of the year passes just as quickly as the next one the older I get. But what I didn’t realize until I started blogging is that each day usually has a food holiday to celebrate!

Did you know today October 9th is Moldy Cheese day? This wouldn’t have ever crossed my mind to celebrate, but to each their own. But I have been known to cut the mold off of cheese and eat the inside that is still good. Blue Cheese is also made from mold, but there is one thing I know about that!! Blue Cheese is an acquired taste and you either love it or hate it. But often times mold is what gives cheese their distinctive flavor.
