My Shaklee 180 Turnaround Month 2

My Shaklee 180 Turnaround Month 2

My Shaklee 180 Turnaround Month 2
Left is month one results, right is month 2

Month 2 Started off very rocky for me. The first week of April was a stressful week, I had some personal issues and just all around a bad week. It lead to bad eating choices, going over on calories, very limited exercise and ended with a wine tasting event and a birthday party. I’m not dwelling on it, I’m moving on and striving to do better in the weeks to come. I’m not making excuses I’m just putting it all out there and being real with the way my week went. Old habits crept back in, but they are on the way back out the door with any luck this week will be better!! Weigh in was…….197.4 so I only lost .4 of a pound but it is a loss so I am doing a little better than I am giving myself credit for.

Week 2 I had an allergic reaction to something followed by an abscessed tooth. It sure was a miserable week, and  a rocky month two but things have to get better right? I weighed in with a weight loss of 3 pounds!! 194 pounds is now what I weigh and I am super excited to be that close to the 180’s! I haven’t seen that number in years, so many in fact I don’t remember what year it was!!

Week 3 192 pounds!! I’ve learned a lot this month about myself and how personal issues affect my weight. I’m an emotional eater, I just eat because I know food has always been there for me and never let me down. I’ve struggled a lot this month with several issues, but I’m fighting back with exercise in place of food, but there were a few days that I ate crappy food because it is a habit that is hard to make die.

Week 4! I thought week 4 was horrible because of unplanned events, a couple farm emergencies that ended up in a few crappy meal choice. However, when I stepped on the scale I was more than elated!! I weighed 189.4!! I made it past the 190 hump I’ve been at for awhile now!!

Which also means I met the big 50 pound mark with a loss of 51.6 pounds!! Since starting my journey just over 8 months ago. My motivation this month has been lacking some days and other days I’ve kicked some major booty. At the end of month 2 I have lost 15.6 pounds which is only 3.4 pounds short of my goal.

Monthly Goals

  1. Lose 10 pounds–I lost 7.2 which isn’t to bad!
  2. Lose 10 pounds–I lost 8.4 pounds!! After my month, I will take it gladly!
  3. Lose 10 pounds
  4. Lose 10 pounds
  5. Lose 10 pounds
  6. Lose 50 pounds  total!

Weekly Goals Month 2

  1. Exercise 5 days a week-met
  2. Stay at my caloric intake goal daily and log it so I know where I go wrong. I missed 10 days out of the month, not to bad considering my month.
  3. Drink lots of water (100 ounces a day is my goal)
  4. At minimum reach at least 6,000 steps but aim for 10,000. I averaged 6,589 steps for the month, I’m ok with that.
  5. Remember to stay on track to lose the 10 pound goal, but just give it my best!! All things considered I have done fairly well this month.
