Orlando-Adventures

Traveling is something that I love to do and from time to time I plan some fun activities to do on our next family vacation. But of course I research the things that interest our family the most and then go from there. This next summer we have decided we are going to the Orlando, Florida area for our next set of adventures! I know it is a few months away but I’m a planner so I’m taking advantage of my pre-planning to get the best deals as well as doing things we will enjoy while there.

Tours4Fun is a great company that I have been working with and I was so impressed with their offerings that I have used their services the most! Here is a few of the activities that we are going to do using Tours4Fun.

Boggy Creek Airboat Rides

Discover territory that remains unaltered by man in the wilderness of the Central Florida Everglades. Let our experienced Master Captains take you into the breathtaking beauty of natural wonders, including wetlands, cypress trees, and wildlife. Ride with a certified U.S. Coast Guard Captain and see Florida Alligators, turtles, birds and more in their natural environment. This safe, exciting and educational airboat ride is filled with surprises and fascination. View wildlife on a U.S. Coast Guard Inspected 17 passenger airboat. Each airboat tour is a unique experience and never the same. You will enjoy whisking across the surface of the water at speeds up to 45 mph while shooting between walls of tall grass.
This is a longer trip increases the number of encounters with Florida’s wildlife, especially the American Alligator, which can reach up to 15 feet in length and 1,000 pounds. You’ll experience nature right alongside turtles, bald eagles, blue herons, deer and a wide variety of water fowl in their natural environment, not in captivity.

Mr. SMSL loves being outdoors and this is a must do attraction for him as well as our daughter Liz and I. His one requirement for the vacation was to be able to go on an airboat tour, so at $47.03 each it is a very affordable addition to our trip.

Pirate Dinner Adventures

We have learned that we love dinner/show combinations so this was an easy addition to our Orlando, Florida Adventures. It $65.98 each it will be the perfect addition and allow us to catch a regional show and a bite to each as well!

Summary of The Day: “Live the Pirate’s Life!” at the “World’s Most Interactive Dinner Show!” Experience a classic story of good versus evil that offers the perfect blend of action, adventure, comedy and romance. You’ll have the opportunity to interact in the adventure and a sumptuous dinner. The show is perfect for children and adults alike!

This multi-million dollar, Broadway-styled musical comedy theater showcases a swashbuckling, action-packed adventure. It features daring stunts, musical entertainment and a sumptuous Pirate’s feast of Caribbean delicacies!

The show is set around an authentically replicated 18th century Spanish Galleon with a 100,000-gallon lagoon surrounding the stage. This adventure has something for everyone!

After the show, your crew will want to stay for the latest dance crazes at the Buccaneer Bash Disco Party!

 Ultimate Space Experience

We are also choosing to go on the Ultimate Space Experience while in the Orlando area. Because it is very doubtful we will ever be in space, we decided that this was going to be the next best thing! At $158.98 we decided it would be money well spent for  once in a lifetime opportunity.

The Ultimate Experience for Space Enthusiasts – a SPACE PASS. This includes an admission ticket into the Kennedy Space Center, the lunch with the Astronaut Experience as well as the DISCOVER NASA bus tour. This takes you right to the launch pads. It is a two hour fully-guided bus tour within Kennedy and if you really want to experience Kennedy, yet don’t necessarily wish to walk around and read the exhibits yourself, then this is your opportunity.

This is a compact day to fit everything in, but if you really want to see the best that Kennedy has to offer then this is the day you should book! During the day you may not have time to see both IMAX movies and everything the visitor center has to offer, but you get an intensive bus tour around the space centers facilities that you would not get to see on other tours! This tour comes highly rated from our guests.

As you can see we are going to have a few packed days in Orlando, but I think it will be worth the money and time! Check out Tours4Fun and tell me which attraction you would like to see in the Orlando area!
