Watching Ratchet and Clank for the first time was nothing less than amazing. I would have to admit that I was a little more than worried about not knowing the game but a few minutes into the film I was worry free. This movie is fantastic from the first scene until the last but I will have to say that I’m anxiously waiting the day I can buy it on DVD or Blu-Ray because it is a must own for our family. 

One of the biggest take away moments I had from this film is simply the quote, “If you have heart, you can do anything.” Every character on the screen each played a very important role in the film and as a great writer does they tied them together in a way that told an amazing story. Ratchet and Clank have been around since 2002 and gamers everywhere have enjoyed them but they stole my heart and I will forever be a #RatchetandClank fan. 

Don’t “Dream smaller” as Grim suggested, but put your heart into it and you can do anything you put your mind too. On April 29, 2016 you and your family can fall in love with these amazing characters too! Head to the theater to watch this movie, I promise you won’t be disappointed. 

Meet the Characters

Drek is brought to life by Paul Giamatti and head of the Blarq species and a major antagonist in Ratchet and Clank. Victor Who is voiced by Sylvester Stallone is the commander of the forces of Drek Industries.

Grimroth who is voiced by John Goodman is more commonly known as Grim. He is the mentor to Ratchet and the owner of the garage on Veldin.

Cora who is voiced by Bella Thorne and of course one of the main characters. Let’s just say her and Ratchet get VERY close in the movie. 

Elaris is Qwark’s second in command of the Galactic Rangers and provides support in the via com station. 

Qwark who is voiced by Jim Ward is the main antagonist in Ratchet and Clank.

Ratchet who is voiced by James Arnold Taylor and is a Lombax and gives the movie a lot of heart. 

Dr. Nefarious is voiced by Armin Shimerman is the nemeses of Ratchet and Clank.

Official Summary

This movie will bring two people together to help save the entire Solana Galaxay. Ratchet who is voiced by James Arnold Taylor as well as Clank voiced by David Haye will work together to stop Chairmen Drek voiced by Paul Giamatti in his tracks. 

Ratchet is the last of his kind, a foolhardy “lombax” who has grown up alone on a backwater planet with no family of his own. Clank is a pint-sized robot with more brains than brawn. When the two stumble upon a dangerous weapon capable of destroying entire planets, they must join forces with a team of colorful heroes called The Galactic Rangers in order to save the galaxy. Along the way, they will learn about heroism, friendship, and the importance of discovering one’s own identity.
