common loaderX86.cpp:303 Silhouette Errors

When you try to load the Silhouette Program from your computer and you get this: common loaderX86.cpp:303 you know you have an issue! This happened to me recently, and I wanted to cry for a couple reasons.

  1.  I had a project I needed to get finished today.
  2. Errors like that are usually a pain to clean up.
  3. No one really wants to spend time redoing things that should work.
  4. Take a deep breath the solution is easier than you think!

But with a little bit of investigation and common sense I was back into business in just under 10 minutes total! So, your first step is to uninstall the Silhouette software you currently have on your computer. But don’t worry, your Silhouette files will still be usable!

After you uninstall the software head to the Silhouette store and download the Silhouette Studio Software again. (It’s free!)

Then after it is installed you can open old files, make new projects and get your craft on. So my few minute freak out was really for nothing, but I am glad that the fix was easy! The Silhouette Cameo allows me to make lots of great projects but I’ve had a few issues with it in the past. Just remember to keep calm, ask questions and do searches.

If I can’t answer your questions, I am positive the people at Silhouette will be able to, because when I first had trouble with my machine about a year ago, they went above and beyond to answer all of my questions. Since then I am an avid Silhouette user and have had lots of great projects and of course experience using this great machine!

Still need help? Check out the Silhouette FAQ portion of their website, they have a plethora of questions and answers on their site.
