Snowmen Wine Cork Craft
If you have been following me for very long at all you know I love Snowmen and wine, but most importantly I enjoy coming up with fun ways to use all of those leftover wine corks. Through the years I’ve found some super cool ideas and made them into lots of different projects. Some of them the kids (nieces & nephews) help make them up to give as presents to their parents but sometimes we do them just for fun. Each wine cork project we have made is as unique as the person making it, and that is one of the best things about them. There is no right or wrong way to make them which allows for creativity in younger kids as well as adults.
I also have a big craft stash of things I pick up when shopping, but my favorite place to shop for craft goodies is at the local Dollar Tree. Each time I head into the store I pick up five new craft items that I can add to my collection, so when the mood strikes I can craft away without having to run to the store. Here are the supplies you need to craft your own Wine Cork Snowman Craft.
Wine corks
White craft
Googly eyes
Red pom poms
Green pipe cleaner
Orange and red craft felt
Scissors
Hot glue, glue gun
Directions:
1. Begin by applying two coats of white
2. While it dries, cut out your felt pieces. You will need a long strip for the scarf (we used red felt) and a small orange triangle for the carrot nose.
3. Cut a small strip of green pipe cleaner to use for the earmuffs. Bend it over the top of the wine cork and glue a red pom pom at each end.
4. Add the googly eyes to the front of the cork for the face, and glue the orange triangle below them for the carrot nose.
5. Finish by wrapping the felt scarf around the neck of the snowman. Add a dab of glue to glue into place.
Your wine cork snowman is now ready to be displayed or given to someone special. Be sure to share your finished projects with us, we love to see other finished projects.

This is a sweet idea to make with kids. And to add to the gift package as a little something extra. Pinned.

What an adorable winter craft! I will definitely be doing this one with my kids! 🙂 I don’t drink wine, but I have plenty of friends that save the corks for me. Thanks for sharing!

These are so cute! My in-laws drink wine all the time, I’ll have to ask them to save their corks so I can make some cute little snowmen and experiment with some other things.
